About Pastor Dr. Bertrand L. Comparet,
A. B., J. D.
Upon reading these most interesting discussions one will quickly recog-
nize that the author is an ardent student of the Bible and particularly
eschatology or the study of the prophecies of the things which have
already taken place, the things that are now taking place, and the things
that are yet to take place in the future. He is an ordained minister. His
studies in this area of thought extend back over a period of thirty years.
One will quickly appreciate also the straight forward manner of factual
presentation and logical thinking. This is due to his professional training
and occupation as a well recognized Attorney at Law. He not only writes
in a clear, convincing style, but is distinguished in the pulpit, on the
lecture platform, and over the air for his clarity of thought and profound
logic.
Bertrand L. Comparet is a native Californian, born in San Diego. He was
graduated from Stanford University with the degree of Bachelor of Arts
and Juris Doctor. He was admitted to the California Supreme Court or
California Bar in 1926 and by the United States Supreme Court in 1956.
From 1926 to 1932 he was a Deputy District Attorney in San Diego
County and from 1942 to 1947 was Deputy City Attorney for the City of
San Diego.
After that time he was in private law practice.
Quite obviously, he is a tried and true Christian and a loyal and patriotic
American, a believer in a Sovereign America under Constitutional gov-
ernment.
Pastor Bertrand L. Comparet started teaching in 1933 and continued
for over 40 years. He returned to the Father in August of 1983.

There is nothing out of date about the Bible. Its clear distinctions between
good and evil, its rules for human conduct and its laws for the govern-
ment of the nation, are as valid and as vital today as they ever were in the
days of the prophets that wrote them. It was written then to be read now.
Far more of its prophecies and warnings apply to this present time than
were aimed at the times in which they were written. This is equally true
of both Old and New Testaments, they are both part of the same book and
each confirms the other. We would do well to heed them.
When our ancestors founded this nation, they were Christians who
recognized the eternal validity of Yahweh's laws. They were aware that
only in obedience to our God could the nation survive. Under the guid-
ance of such men, the few colonies with their small and scattered popula-
tions grew to become the mightiest nation the world has ever seen.
All the power of ancient Babylon, Assyria, Egypt, and Rome, the empires
who ruled with force and cruelty all the world they knew, were insignifi-
cant compared to the majestic might we enjoyed just 15 years ago. How
did it happen that we have now fallen to the point where we pay heavy
tribute money to communist Yugoslavia and Poland? We try, with whin-
ing pleas and bribes, to curry favour with Ghana, Indonesia, Cuba, the
Congo, Tunisia and Ethiopia, meanwhile whimpering to anyone who will
listen, we just can't survive without the help of these weak and helpless
nations. Haven't we even one man in Washington who can understand,
unless these nations have the courage and honour, to fight for their own
freedom even though they stand alone like Finland, they certainly won't
fight for us because we pay them bribes? How can we have fallen to the
point where we just wince and yelp when Castro kicks us?
Only by allowing the anti Christian to corrupt us, to lead us away from
Yahshua and the Bible, has this happened. No enemy army crushed our

Was Samson the strongman a real figure in the Bible? The child was born and was named Samson. He grew up to become the strongest man of whom the Bible tells. Samson was no general, like Gideon or Jephthah, to call out his people and lead them in war. He did much to set his people free; but all that he did was by his own strength.
