Welcome to the Behavioral Health
Unit at Clark Memorial Health
We are here to provide you with the most compassionate
care at our acute behavioral health units. We understand
that this can be a stressful time for you and your family,
and we want you to get as much out of your treatment
here as possible.
During your stay, be prepared to attend all program
offerings. We realize at times you may feel badly,
once your medical needs are attended to, you will be
expected to attend and participate in group. If you are
not participating, you may be asked to sit in the day room
and work independently on treatment. Rooms will remain
unlocked for toileting and rest time.
This handbook was developed to provide guidelines
to promote your wellness and help you understand our
treatment plan. The following information will help you
to understand what you and your family can expect.
Please review it carefully and feel free to speak with our
staff about any questions you may have. It is our mission
to provide compassionate patient-centered care
at Clark Memorial Health (CMH).
