Your healthcare provider has prescribed EGRIFTA SVTM 2 mg as a subcutaneous injection - an injection given under the skin, not into the muscle. You will be
given 2 boxes from the pharmacy when you get your prescription of EGRIFTA SVTM:
? Store the EGRIFTA SVTM vials in the Medication Box they come in, at room temperature between 68?F to 77?F (20?C to 25?C); keep the vials out of the light.

BEFORE YOU START
Find a well-lit, clean and flat surface, such as a table. Gather your supplies. Make sure you have two boxes, the Medication Box and the
Injection Box.
Open the two boxes and make sure all the materials listed below are there. If you are missing any supplies described below or if they look
damaged, call your pharmacist or THERA patient support? at 1-833-238-4372 (1-833-23THERA).
The boxes should contain:

Other supplies you will need for each injection:

EGRIFTA SVTM must be injected in the dosage
amount that your healthcare provider prescribed,
ideally at the same time, every day.
Do not use EGRIFTA SVTM if the expiration date on the

Never reuse or recycle needles or syringes. Never throw used needles, syringes, or sharps containers into the trash. If you accidentally prick
another person with a needle, immediately report the incident to a healthcare provider. Keep the sharps container away from children and
pets. Make sure to keep your hands and work area clean at all times.

Start basal bolus insulin with 4-6 units of short-acting insulin or a rapid-acting analogue with meals and 6 units of iso-phane or long-acting analogue at bedtime (see practical hints below).
