It's often said that the world is becoming `smaller' and that people are more in touch with each other
than ever before.
Discuss this idea with the Examiner.
Please use the following ideas to help develop the conversation:
? occasions when you communicate with people around the world
? reasons why you think it's easier now to connect with people globally
? some issues that could be regarded as `global'
? the extent to which your country has a global outlook
? the suggestion that individual cultures may be lost as a result of globalisation.
You are free to consider any other related ideas of your own.
